Oh yes, the Icelandic know how to work their dairy. The result: skyr!

This delicous yogurt type-thing is PACKED with protein (as in: 100 grams of skyr contains 60 calories, 3,5 grams of carbs, 0,2 grams of fat and 11 grams OF PROTEIN!). Its texture is creamy and smooth and it works wonders in any person’s food-log. I have been trying to add more protein to my diet, and this superfood is certainly helping me out a great deal.

So, it is currently my new favorite breakfast… AND snack! Probably will eat it for dinner one day too, no judging. I add pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds, a few cashew nuts and cinnamon.
